Kate OS Live is a CD version of Kate OS 3.0 Beta that is designed to operate on a live module format.
Kate OS is an independently developed and lightweight Linux distribution that has taken some of its concepts from Slackware Linux. This new release, KateOS 3.6, comes with hundreds of updated packages, numerous bugfixes and improved solutions, making it better and more efficient.
Among the most significant features of KateOS 3.6 is the software-driven system hibernation, a GUI installer, which is included in the LIVE edition of the software.
