KCRW Now Playing Widget

If you're on the hunt for a new online radio station, KCRW is definitely one to check out. As a public station located in Santa Monica, it offers a diverse range of music that's sure to please. Plus, you can easily access it via iTunes or through a shoutcast stream.

Personally, one of my favorite features of KCRW is that they were one of the first public stations to offer their original content as podcasts. It's a great way to discover new artists and stay up-to-date on the latest trends.

However, there is one downside to the station: they don't broadcast track information over their live stream like some others do. Fortunately, you can always visit their website to see what's currently playing. But for those who want something more streamlined, I created a widget that pulls the track data from their pop-up window and displays it right on your dashboard.

It's a basic solution, but it gets the job done. So, the next time you hear an amazing song on KCRW and want to know who's performing it, you won't have to jump through hoops to find out. Just check your dashboard and get the details you need.
