Keep-It

I recently tried Keep-It, a software that is designed to store every file revision without cluttering up your computer, or consuming valuable disk space. One of the standout features of Keep-It is that it seamlessly integrates with Windows Explorer, providing you with a new file type: a Keep-It archive. This archive behaves like a folder, and you can easily drag and drop items into it.

When you add items to a Keep-It archive, a revision snapshot is taken. This not only keeps all of your items organized, but it also ensures you can always view older versions with ease. Additionally, you can configure Keep-It to make additional snapshots that may contain further revisions of the items you've added.

One thing I found particularly useful about Keep-It is the ability to browse the history of your work. This enables you to determine which items have changed, when they were changed, and where they were saved. The program also maintains a log of all the changes made to the item revisions it contains.

One of the main benefits of using Keep-It is that it only stores differences, compressing them as it goes. This means that Keep-It can retain hundreds of item revisions within the same disk space as one actual item. In summary, I found Keep-It to be a reliable and efficient tool for anyone who needs to keep track of multiple revisions of files and folders.
