Developed by Ken Werner
Kima is a highly useful application for KDE that can be utilized as a kicker applet to display the CPU temperature and frequency. In order to ensure that the app operates smoothly, one must enable the temperature ACPI kernel module (thermal.ko).

To install Kima, begin by running configure and then proceed to build the sources, make, and finally install the applet (while ensuring that appropriate rights are implemented). Additionally, one can add the applet to their KDE panel upon completion.

In the latest update of Kima, CPU usage source has been added, effectively making it even more useful than before. Furthermore, a russian translation has been added to make the app accessible to an even wider audience.
