KLatexFormula

KLatexFormula is an application that enables users to obtain an image of a LaTeX formula quickly. This image can be easily copied, saved to disk, or even dragged and dropped.

To install, simply make sure that the dependencies – LaTeX and ImageMagick (Magick++) – are resolved. Once that's done, type the following command:

prompt> tar xvfz klatexformula-1.1.0.tar.gz

Then, run the configuration file and build the application:

prompt> ./configure && make

If you need administrator privileges to install the program, type 'su', followed by the installation command:

prompt> su

prompt # make install

prompt # exit

After installation, KLatexFormula offers two modes: shrinked and expanded. The shrinked mode is self-explanatory, while the expanded mode allows users to specify various options.
