Kooboo has an impressive speed compared to other content management systems. It can render a dynamic page, containing 10 dynamic content items, within 1 millisecond. Normally, it takes more than 50 milliseconds for other systems to render.
Kooboo is incredibly easy to get started and users can migrate websites through a single URL or upload Microsoft Office documents or a standard HTML zip. It can unpack, convert documents accordingly, and make them available for editing within Kooboo.
All content can be edited by the inline editing tool. Users can click anywhere on the webpage and edit any text, image, content item, or style-sheet color. With Kooboo, web development can be done by using HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and additional functions can be written in JavaScript. The JavaScript engine in Kooboo is called kScript.
Changes made in Kooboo are logged and every object has a relation map to other objects within the website. Users can also undo or restore any changes, and checkout or restore their website to a certain time in the past. Moreover, Kooboo can identify where an image is located in the website, either in the page content or the style sheet.
Users can easily publish websites by either exporting and importing site packages or creating a synchronization between their local version and an online server. Kooboo also supports One-Click deployment and incremental deployment.
