The KOPS project is a classic two-dimensional gravitational shoot 'yer' friend game, now available as a port from the outdated DOS version. The game offers smooth parallax scrolling and a complete digital soundtrack and sound effects. It is recommended to play the game on a Pentium-class processor or higher for the best experience.
There are five keys to control your ship in KOPS, including the thrust key (to move forward), turn left, turn right, fire main gun and fire special gun. Players can upgrade both their main and special guns by collecting power-ups that appear at various levels throughout the game.
Upon picking up a main gun power-up, your gun is immediately upgraded, and you will have unlimited ammo. If you happen to collect a weaker gun than the one you already had, you're out of luck. With KOPS, you must stay vigilant and have quick reflexes to progress and save your friends.
