"TV Helper" is a software that enables users to easily watch TV using their Hauppauge WinTV pvr150 cards. The application provides a convenient and user-friendly interface for an enhanced TV viewing experience.
As a TV viewer who uses a Hauppauge WinTV pvr150 card, I found the KTvTune application to be incredibly useful. In fact, it is compatible with all ivtv cards and can be adjusted through configuration files to work well for others.
Though it is really just a frontend for some commands, the application makes it possible to watch TV until a better solution comes along. And it works really well - I find myself using it every day.
While there are other solutions out there, some seem to procrastinate and take longer to support my winTV pvr 150 card. So, I decided to put KTvTune online in case it helps others in the same predicament.
Interestingly enough, it seems that another developer had the same need as me and created a similar application called Kommander. In fact, this app is even more featureful than KTvTune. But alas, it was too late - now we have two great options for users to choose from.
