Kubuntu KDM Gears is a theme for Kubuntu that is based on the Ubuntu Gears KDM theme.
I recently tried out the Kubuntu KDM Gears theme and found it to be a wonderful addition to my KDE desktop. This theme is essentially a Kubuntu version of the Gears KDM theme, which was created by mandrivian and ChristianNickel.
One of the main attractions of this theme is its various versions of the Kubuntu logo. The original version features a flat Kubuntu logo, while two other versions add some relief effect to the logo. Additionally, there is a version with the official Kubuntu edgy logo and a Kubuntu Tux version.
Although the theme already has a good variety of logos to choose from, the creator is open to suggestions and comments from users. Furthermore, in order to maintain a homogeneous KDE theme, it is recommended to download ChristianNickel's original artwork, which includes a splash screen and wallpaper.
I was pleased to find that the latest release of this theme includes a kubuntu-tagged Tux, which is a nice touch. Overall, I would highly recommend the Kubuntu KDM Gears theme to anyone looking to spice up their KDE experience.
