Kumoon is an exciting software that is a combination between a third person shooter and a puzzle game. The player takes control of a courageous chick that aims to knock down boxes in multiple rooms by shooting them with a revolver, shotgun, or a bazooka. The game won the illustrious first prize in the GameDev compo at the Assembly'05 party. The MOPE physics engine, which the developer wrote in 2004, powers Kumoon.
The objective of the game is to successfully complete all the rooms. The only way to accomplish this feat is by tilting over all the red/green boxes with 0 or positive points. You cannot complete a room just by shooting at the boxes directly, as penalty points will accrue for using too many bullets. Instead, you must use the score multiplier feature, which multiplies the points you get by 10, 20 or 30 depending on the number of bounces the bullet makes before hitting the boxes.
It is important to note that the first shot is always free, regardless of the weapon. Therefore, it is recommended to use either the shotgun or the bazooka for the first shot since they are much more powerful than the revolver. After the first bullet, it is best to use the revolver, as you receive fewer penalty points.
