Leap Frog

This Windows game presents itself as a one or two player strategy game. It includes eight different levels, each with a unique playing field. For those familiar with Reversi, the gameplay mechanics will come as no surprise. By simply jumping over your opponent's frogs, you can turn them into dragons under your control. However, it's important to note that you can only land in an empty cell and cannot jump over open ones. The computer won't allow you to make any illegal moves.

To win each level, you must have the most frogs on the playing field at the end of it. The ultimate goal is to end the game with the highest number of points. Strategically trapping your opponent will yield extra points, giving a satisfying edge to gameplay.

Players can engage in either one or two-player modes. In the one-player mode, users square off against the computer that offers adjustable difficulty settings. Ranging from easy for young children to hard for adults, there is a level of challenge for everyone. In the two-player mode, friends can face off against each other, adding a sense of competition and social interaction.

The system requirements of this software are quite modest, requiring either a Pentium or 80486 processor, 256+ colors, and only 1.5 Meg on the hard drive. With these technological requirements met, players can enjoy hours of enjoyable and satisfying gameplay.
