Leap SE is a CASE tool that quickly converts system requirements into object and data models for software development. It shortens the systems development lifecycle, supports rapid application development, and offers more than a Requirements Management tool.

One of the significant features of Leap SE Web is its 18 functional templates, which help in capturing system behavior. Additionally, it contains four structural templates for defining entities, attributes, and relationships. It also has a Builder for creating custom templates and an ICD template for defining message definitions. Users can access Leap SE Web via a web-based platform, providing an enterprise solution for managing requirements across multiple systems and users. The software can be deployed on either Apache Tomcat or GlassFish Server and is compatible with Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL databases.
In addition to requirement authoring and management, Leap SE Web generates object-oriented and relational models. Whenever the requirements are updated, the underlying models used to generate Java classes, C++ header files, or relational SQL scripts are also updated. Users can easily compose requirements using templates, select entities from the drop-down list, and incorporate common grammatical structures to specify release, priority, paragraph, and comments. The software also allows for the development of personalized custom templates.
Finally, the RTM facility in Leap SE Web supports requirement editing and version tracking. It enables users to query and export data to a CSV file and edit individual attributes. Overall, the software provides an intuitive and comprehensive toolset for organizations seeking to streamline their Agile development process and requirements management.
