Light Hawk is a Jabber instant messaging client that is specially designed to integrate with the KDE desktop environment. It is optimized to provide seamless communication experience to KDE users.
Light Hawk is a KDE Jabber client that is still in development. Although it is unfinished, I have been using it regularly for some time now. If you're interested in following or contributing to its development, it's recommended to use GNU arch 1.2 or later. My archive can be found at [email protected] and is readily available for use. For the lighthawk--mainline branch, simply compile and symlink [email protected]/admin--KDE-3-0-BRANCH into the top level of lighthawk as "admin".
Once you have these steps completed, Light Hawk functions as an ordinary KDE application. To start, run gmake -f Makefile.cvs to obtain the configure script. However, keep in mind that you must run this script in a separate directory for arch to cooperate later.
