I recently tried out Magic CD Burner (VCLEdition) and found it to be a great addition to any Delphi/Builder program. The software boasts a full featured data CD recording functionality that is very easy to use. One of the best parts about this software is that no DLL/ActiveX is required.
Magic CD Burner supports CDR/CDRW, with DVDR/DVDRAM coming soon. You can create ISO(100% DOS/Windows) compatible data CDs and it supports Long File Name (Joliet) File System. Additionally, the software features on the fly recording of CDs, so there is no need to build ISO files first. No disk space is required for temporary files and you can utilize the latest features of your CD Write. You can even burn and build ISO images and import previous sessions.
If you are looking to write on rewriteable CD, this software may be just what you need. It also features a highly customizable files/disc layout and has been tested with SCSI and IDE/EIDE CD Writers. The software can even be used to make backup software, which is a great added bonus.
Other features of Magic CD Burner include high performance file/disc caching, bootable CD support, and the ability to customize the files/disc layout. The software is compatible with all Windows Versions (Except Windows 3.1x) and comes with free lifetime upgrades.
One important note regarding the software is that ASPI is required; however, SPTI support will be incorporated in version 1.10. Also, the ability to import previous sessions will be available in version 1.10+.
