MailForge is a top-notch email client designed by Infinity Data Systems, which has been developing it since late 2007. This application is modeled on the popular email platform Eudora, which has earned a reputation for its performance on both Mac OS X and Windows. Despite being one of the oldest email applications, Eudora still outshines its competitors with its exclusive features and smooth implementation.
However, in late 2006, Qualcomm announced that it was suspending development of Eudora and transferring further responsibility to the Mozilla Foundation, with future versions of Eudora based on Thunderbird. Unfortunately, this move has caused concern among Eudora’s regular users who feel that mimicking Eudora by modifying Thunderbird would not provide the complete experience they have come to love and depend upon.
