Majix is a software application that facilitates the conversion of files from Microsoft's Word Rich Text Format (RTF) into XML. It enables users to convert RTF styles and document-specific features into an XML file that conforms to a document type definition (DTD). With Majix, users can adjust the names of the output tags to suit their individual needs.
The user interface is straightforward and user-friendly, allowing users to locate the file they wish to convert by clicking Find Document, or by manually inputting the file path into the first text field. Once selected, the Input RTF file text field displays the file name. By default, the output file name is the same as the input file, with the .XML extension instead of .RTF. Users can modify the output file's name by editing the Output XML file text field before initiating the conversion process.
Majix supports Rich Text Format (RTF) files, and if the user has enabled the feature, it also accommodates Word (DOC) files. When converting a DOC file, Majix refers to Word to translate the file into RTF before performing the conversion into XML.
