Matchsticks

Matchsticks is a game that appears deceptively easy from the outset, but it quickly becomes apparent that the puzzles are much more complex than they first seem. The objective of the game is to remove a specific number of matches in order to create the required amount of squares. At the start of each level, players will see 9 small squares that have been created by multiple matchsticks. The question for the level is displayed in the lower left corner of the screen.

To successfully complete the level, players must select the required number of matches to create the exact quantity of squares stated in the question. It's important to keep in mind that all overlapping squares will be counted and that each piece of matchstick must be a part of a square. As soon as the level has been completed, players will be able to see their score displayed in the top left corner of the screen.

To make things more challenging, there is a timer located under the scoreboard that counts down as players progress through each level. This adds an extra layer of pressure, forcing players to think carefully before making any moves - once matches have been removed, they cannot be replaced.
