Maze Munchers is a game-like screensaver that introduces a virtual pac-man maze experience.
This software tribute to classic "eat everything in sight" maze games is sure to bring a smile to your face. It features a virtual game being played out on your computer screen, with Pac-Man, Lock N Chase (Intellivision version), and KC Munchkin all darting around randomly created mazes of different sizes. The aim is to avoid enemies and clear one more board.
In this latest release, the software now boasts a universal binary and a bug fix relating to the apparent ability of Mac OS X to perform more than one task at once, which caused some issues in the past. The characters have also been fixed from previously being able to skirt around the maze on the right side and then re-enter from the right without having gone to the left, as they should have.
The software developer has also thanked Tommaso Pecorella of Italy for his code suggestions and fixes, which have helped improve the program. So if you're looking for a nostalgic and fun screensaver, this is definitely one to check out.
