MelodyBuilder software enables experimentation with chord progressions, melodies, arpeggios and song ideas even without in-depth music theory knowledge. It permits easy exportation of the creations into songs.

This software allows musicians to create patterns that describe how to play any chord, thereby eliminating the need to play individual notes for each chord. With MelodyBuilder, one creates patterns for a bassline, and applies the same pattern to the entire chord progression. The software automatically plays the right notes, eliminating the need to play the individual chords themselves.
MelodyBuilder features an extensive chord database with over 50 scale types and 200 chord types. This enables musicians to create new and exciting chord progressions they never thought of before. One can try out chord progressions by dragging and dropping chords in a sequencer or create arpeggios and melodies without having to think about what notes are actually played. Additionally, one can create more complex patterns that extend the note material of the chords in the progression, without needing to think about what notes are being played.
Exporting creations to midi files is easy, making it possible to use them in one's preferred sequencer like FruityLoops, Cubase or Logic. MelodyBuilder simplifies the music creation process by allowing musicians to focus solely on the chord progression itself, while taking care of the technical notes involved. Ultimately, MelodyBuilder allows musicians to spend more time on the creative parts of music composition, rather than on the technical details.
Version 6.0.1: Complete revamp of the software from scratch.
