Extract metadata from files and documents in chosen directories, export it to an XML format. The software collects all file properties and enables batch processing.

One new feature of Catalogue includes getting PDF Infos and IPTC fields while also being able to export XML. This feature assists users in managing metadata and document properties efficiently.
Catalogue has an array of other features, including collecting and managing metadata such as standard Microsoft Office summary information, summary information of any Windows 2000 file, user-defined information of any Microsoft Office document, Macintosh comments of any Macintosh file stored on NTFS volumes (running on NT 4.0 or Windows 2000), the title of HTML documents, and PDF Document information. The software also manages IPTC-NAA fields for JPEG/TIFF/PSD images to object names, edit status, priority, and many others.
Catalogue has the capability of quickly generating outputs for predefined catalogs, including interactive reports, HTML reports for selected files metadata of one directory or set of directories, XML reports with all metadata of folders and sub-folders contents, and many more. You can also generate any HTML, RTF, TXT, CSV, etc. report processing an XML export file with the appropriate XSL transformation. Additionally, you can populate metadata databases from Catalogue export files using XML professional tools or create a CSV export report of selected files metadata for future use by another application. CSV (comma delimited) file format is easily opened with spreadsheets programs like MS Excel.
Catalogue is compatible with Windows 95/98/ME, NT 4.0, and Windows 2000/XP. As a software review, Catalogue has many features that make it efficient and user-friendly for managing metadata and document properties.
