This software creates a virtual printer driver to extract text from print-ready documents and save it as a file or upload it to a server. It offers a customized solution through an interactive wizard, which can be embedded into applications.

Once installed on your PC, the driver will appear as a virtual printer in your system. With the help of the COM interface, you can access any documents you print to this virtual printer from your software. You can browse through the pages of the document, edit the extracted text, and save the results to a variety of destinations such as disk or Clipboard, FTP or HTTP server, email, or even print them.
If you want to automatically save extracted text to the designated destinations without any input, you can opt for "Auto Save" mode. To save documents as individual files, add various identifiers such as {{DATE}}, {{TIME}}, {{SYSFOLDER}}, {{IDENTITY}}, {{PAGE}}, or {{JOB}} to the file name or path. These values will be substituted with the current date, time, system folder, unique numbers, page numbers, and print job ID, respectively.
Miraplacid Text Driver SDK is free, but you will require a license if you intend to use or distribute the printer driver it creates.
