This software is designed for geometrical design and strength control of statically loaded welded connections, following ANSI, ISO, and DIN standards. It supports Imperial and Metric units for easy use.

Some types of welds the calculation can handle include butt welds, fillet welds, plug and slot welds, and spot welds. On top of design, the software can also help with the strength control of the designed connections.
What's unique about this program is that it includes a table with approximately 700 carbon steels that are suitable for welding based on material standards. It also features a dimensional table with sections of steel such as S, ST, W, WT, C, L, T, I, U, and L.
The calculation has been crafted using a wealth of data, procedures, and algorithms from specialized literature and standards like AWS, AISC, ANSI, EN, ISO, DIN, and many more. A list of standards that it adheres to includes prEN 1993-1-8, EN 10024, EN 10034, EN 10055, EN 10056, EN 10279, DS 952, DIN 15018, DIN 18800, DIN 1024, DIN 1025, DIN 1026, DIN 1028, DIN 1029, and CSN.
This software is part of the MITCalc package that offers mechanical and technical calculation features related to different things like gear, belt and chain drives, springs, beam, shaft, bolt and shaft connections, tolerances, and much more.
