I recently had the pleasure of using Mouse Extender, a software tool that has significantly enhanced my mouse user experience. There were several key features that stood out to me during my time with it.
Firstly, the mouse button configuration capability was a game changer. With this feature, I was able to customize exactly which mouse button and system key (alt, shift, etc.) Mouse Extender would react to, making my mouse usage much more efficient and personalized.
Another feature that I found particularly useful was the ability to simply add items to ME using Drag&Drop. It was incredibly easy and fast to do so, making organization of items a breeze.
Using Tabs to group items was another helpful aspect of ME, making organization even more efficient. And now with the added capability of adding web addresses, ME can truly act as a one-stop-shop for all your needs.
Customization was incredibly easy with Mouse Extender as well. With the ability to change launch arguments, tool-tips, icons, and more, any user could easily tailor their ME to their own liking without hassle.
One incredibly helpful feature was the Shutdown / sleep / hibernate timer capability. It allowed me to schedule any action I want, whether it be shutdown, sleep, or hibernate, giving me the flexibility to control even when I'm not at my computer. The slider function also allowed for easy time selection.
The Automatic updates checking feature was also notable, with ME automatically notifying me when a new version was available.
Sort Items using Drag'n'Drop was incredibly convenient and made reordering items a quick and easy task.
The consistency of design across the controls was another great feature that was impressively streamlined.
Finally, the Enable / Disable option from tray icon context menu was an extremely helpful way for me to quickly turn off functionality when needed.
