MouseImp Pro Live! source code is available for free download and use. It does not include copy protection and additional trialware found in the commercial version. The source code can be compiled on Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0.

This open-source project was started by the original developers of the commercial product, MouseImp Pro. While the source code lacks the copy protection and evaluation version limitations of the commercial version, it is still a great product that can be further developed. Volunteers who are interested in contributing to the development of MouseImp are highly welcome to do so, and can get in touch with the developers by emailing [email protected].
The original MouseImp Pro was a successor to the popular MouseImp software, and incorporated many improvements and new features based on user feedback. The software is designed to help users use a conventional mouse more efficiently. The AutoShrink feature increases available workspace by removing toolbars from the screen, so that only caption bars remain. To access a toolbar, simply point to its caption, and it will be immediately restored.
The Direct Scroll feature makes it easier to scroll through windows. Instead of using a scroll bar, users can activate MouseImp and scroll by moving the mouse up or down anywhere in the window. MouseImp also gives users the ability to shrink windows temporarily, allowing them to be easily tiled or arranged on the screen. Users can benefit from MouseImp's unique features, which make everyday tasks easier and more productive.
