MurrinaMetallica is a brand new and exciting metallic theme that makes use of the powerful Murrine engine. As a developer, I personally love using it with Compiz configured to give my menus a bit of transparency. You can even set up the panel to be transparent, further enhancing the overall look and feel.
However, if you're not using Compiz, you can still enjoy MurrinaMetallica by simply switching to another Metacity theme that has more visible window borders. The best part? The color scheme is completely customizable to your liking!
If you're interested in installing MurrinaMetallica, then the process is incredibly simple. All you need to do is right-click on your desktop and select "Change Desktop Background." Then simply click on the first tab labeled "Theme." From there, you can drag and drop the archived theme into the Appearance Preferences window. Once you have everything set up, you'll receive a confirmation message and be able to activate the theme by simply clicking on it.
