This software is a modified Murrina theme that incorporates a focus ring for use with GTK text widgets. It enhances the user experience by providing a visual cue for where text input is being directed.
MurrinaNeoMode is a popular GTK theme, powered by the Murrine engine. In this software, users can disable the additional gaim icons by commenting out the first line in the gtkrc file. Furthermore, the Gtk text widgets mode can be disabled by commenting out the second line. The third line introduces a small mode for the buttons used in the headers of the *List and *Tree widgets, including rhythmbox and list view in nautilus. This feature is designed to make the buttons smaller with a smaller font and x/y thickness. Users can also select their own font. Gtk accepts the font names as in fontconfig 2. Please see tree-labels.rc for an example.
Users can also enable the animation feature. However, it is disabled by default due to the high CPU usage caused by the progress bars, especially when running BitTorrent clients. When animation is enabled, CPU usage can increase to 10%, which may exhaust the battery too fast.
