myLauncher is a portable and user-friendly Application Launcher that offers the ability to launch programs, files, folders, and websites with ease. It is a standalone software, requiring no installation and can be used directly from your flash drive.
The software works like the 'Run' command in Windows, wherein the user inputs a word (Command) and an item, and the system launches the particular item. Unlike traditional software, myLauncher refrains from displaying menus or pop-ups to choose the item.
Moreover, there is no limit on the number of items that can be added to the Launch List. It performs efficiently and can be used from a flash drive to manage the Launch List of multiple PCs. Users can also add web URLs to the Launch List as bookmarks and open them on any machine connected to their flash drives.
myLauncher occupies very little screen area and minimizes to display only the Main Text box to enable the user to launch items without disturbing their workflow. Adding items (applications, files, folders, or websites) to the Launch List is easy with a unique and easy-to-remember Launch Name for each item.
The program includes a handy QuickLauncher that allows launching multiple items from the Launch List with just one mouse click. myLauncher offers a few color settings or 'Themes,' and it has been tested on Windows 7 and Windows 10. However, it may also be compatible with other versions of Windows that have 32-bit Visual Basic installed.
Although myLauncher bears some similarity in name and functionality to the author's other program, it is a completely different software program than the old one. The old myLauncher has been discontinued and is no longer hosted by the author. Since the new myLauncher doesn't communicate with the old one in any way, it cannot be used as an upgrade of the old software.
