Nap Time

Nap Time is a fantastic software that can be utilized to manage your computer's sleeping schedule. It allows you to set the duration of time you'd like to pass before your computer goes to sleep. For instance, if you need to encode a large QuickTime movie, you can commence the process while you sleep, and allow Nap Time to put your computer to sleep after a determined period of time.

While in operation, Nap Time is able to obstruct the automatic idle sleep that's specified in the Energy Saver setting of the System Preferences. However, there is a possibility that this attribute may not be reliable at all times. If your computer sleeps unexpectedly, simply deactivate idle sleep within the System Preferences until you've completed your Nap Time session.

Nap Time functions using very little CPU cycles when being used, and it won't interfere with any applications you may be running concurrently that require a significant amount of computational power. Nap Time is an effective solution for scheduling your computer's sleep times and ensuring that the job is done on time.
