Neon Glow is a software that comes in the form of a Dock theme, completely free for download and installation. By applying this software, you can give your desktop a fresh new look. To get started, the installation process involves the following steps:
Firstly, navigate to Macintosh HD > /System/Library/Core Services/. Secondly, right-click on “Dock” and select “Show Package Contents”. In the package contents, go to /Contents/Resources/. Make sure to backup the files you are about to replace. Thirdly, move the original files to the trash. Fourthly, move the files you just downloaded to that same folder. Lastly, open Terminal and type “killall Dock” (without the quotes) to ensure a smooth transition. You can now view your newly installed Dock theme and enjoy the view!
