NetMap is a graphic ping tool designed for viewing, printing, and archiving daily protocol. It alerts users in the tray area if a host is unresponsive to requests and can utilize external batch files.

NetMap allows for the creation of a list of hosts to which requests are cyclically sent. The minimum interval between consecutive requests can be adjusted from 100milliseconds to 10 minutes. The list can contain more than a hundred hosts, of which up to seventy can be manually selected for observation through the main window of the program.
The software provides daily reports by accumulating received replies, which are displayed in a graphic or text format that can be printed or saved for archiving purposes. The graphic protocol has per minute resolution. NetMap has a feature that allows for the saving of detailed logs and sending mail.
Furthermore, the program's functionality can be extended through the use of external batch files or plugins. NetMap can be adjusted to load at startup and work automatically as a system service if necessary. To reduce the loading of CPU, the program can be minimized to a tray icon. The tray icon indicates the state of the most problematic host, determined by analyzing its latest replies.
