As a ninja, you've suffered years of oppression from the evil FlapJacks da Pirate. But now, your master has found a secret passage that he believes leads to FlapJack's hide-out. Unfortunately, FlapJacks has populated the passageway with evil monsters. But he's also been careless and has left numerous weapons behind for you to use. It's up to you to make your way through the dungeon and defeat Flapjacks da Pirate.
To start playing NinjaQuestX, open the game and enter commands in the green text input box. Type "help" to get started, and then type directions to move around (north, south, east or west). Look for weapons and other items along the way. Always remember to add weapons to your inventory by typing "get (NUMBER) (NAME)".
When you encounter a monster, you will have the chance to strike first with a ranged weapon before engaging in battle. If you win, the monster dies, but if you lose, your character jumps out of the room. If you die, the game ends.
As you explore the game, the map will fill in gradually. You can save your progress by entering "save (NAME)" and then load it later by entering "load (NAME)." The ultimate goal is to find and defeat Flapjacks da Pirate. If you manage to do that, you have won the game.
