The Okiworld project is a strategy game that is console-based and can be played between two hosts. Whether you want to play the game with someone over the internet or on your local area network, the game allows you to do so with ease. You have the option of launching your perl file as both the server and the client.

Once you have the IP address of the server, you can easily connect to their host and begin playing the game. The default port for connections is 3200. To make a move in the game, you need to use your turn, and every action has its own cost.

Sending and reading messages to your opponent doesn't take a turn to complete. As you and your opponent play the game, moves are made one by one, and turns are taken after each move. The game only requires Perl to function appropriately.

In the latest release, the delay between thievery operations has increased slightly. Additionally, when you finish the game, the window will not close until you read the results and press enter, which helps in case you haven't started the game from the command line.
