Open Liero is a software that precisely duplicates Liero but with minor bugs removed.
Open Liero is an almost exact clone of Liero with some non-essential bugs fixed, such as the ability to walk over the rope. It is the ultimate hack for Liero 1.33 that allows you to run Liero as before, with sounds, in both Windows and Linux. OpenLiero emulates Liero almost perfectly, and has all the classic weapons you know and love. For those who prefer custom weapons, OpenLiero also supports TC's.
Although still in development, OpenLiero is fully playable and gives you that good old feeling. Some bugs may appear and some parts are still not implemented, such as some TC hacks, but the game is still enjoyable. The latest version even includes the good old Liero AI to fight against.
