Open Proxy Scanning Bot is a NeoStats IRC Services module that scans for open proxies. It was formerly known as NeoBOPM.
The Open Proxy Scanning Bot, previously known as NeoBOPM, is an exceptional loadable module designed for the NeoStats IRC Services. Its core functionality is to conduct thorough scans on clients who connect to the IRC network in order to detect any insecure proxies. The software is also equipped with a DNS blacklist to cross-reference any previously registered insecure proxies. The results of these scans are cached, enhancing the performance of the software. With multiple bots, the Open Proxy Scanning Bot can easily be configured for load balancing.
The software currently supports numerous IRCd's, including Hybrid7, Unrealircd, LiquidIRCd, Bahamut, QuantumIRCd, MysticIRCd, NeoIRCd, and Ultimate, with more being planned for future versions.

Secondly, the DNS blacklist code has been split out to a new module, BLSB. Additionally, several issues that caused NeoStats to consume 100% of the CPU when using OPSB have been addressed and fixed. Finally, compatibility with gcc 4.0 has been improved.
