This software provides a high-performance vector and matrix library consisting of more than 3500 functions. It focuses on areas such as math, statistics, FFT, vector and matrix algebra, matrix decompositions (LUD, SVD, Cholesky), curve fitting, and graphics.

Furthermore, OptiVec offers numerous features to aid in curve fitting for a wide range of model functions, from simple linear regression to non-linear models with multiple data sets. Users can also perform statistics, comparisons (for time series analysis), and analysis tasks such as derivatives, integrals, extrema, and interpolation. Graphical representation of data in Cartesian coordinates, complex number math (in both Cartesian and polar format) are among other notable functions.
OptiVec boasts of its vectorized implementation in Assembler that makes functions 2-3 times faster, on average, than compiled source code of the same functionality. It promises improved numerical accuracy in many instances as well. This latest version of OptiVec has been compiled specifically for the Windows64 target platform of Lazarus. Overall, OptiVec appears to be a comprehensive software package that can significantly aid in numerical computing and data analysis tasks.
