Paper Dock is an excellent theme that can give your Dock a realistic paper-like look. Best of all, it's free! If you wish to install this wonderful Dock theme, follow the below instructions.
Firstly, navigate to Macintosh HD > /System/Library/Core Services/ using the finder. Once located, right-click on the "Dock" icon and select "Show Package Contents" from the contextual menu. Within this folder, navigate to /Contents/Resources/.
Before replacing any files, it is advisable to back up any files you are about to replace. Once you have backed up these files, move them to the trash. Do not worry about losing anything as we will replace these files with new ones.
Next, move the files you downloaded from Paper Dock into that resources folder. Once you have moved those files, please open Terminal and type "killall Dock" into the command prompt. Do not include the quotation marks.
After you have executed this command, view your newly themed Dock with a paper-like look. Enjoy!
