Personal Informer is a comprehensive service allowing users to create personalized home pages with news, links, and gadgets that cater to their interests. The platform offers tools designed to help you customize and curate content that is relevant and useful.

Your personal home page will include two differently arranged lists of your favorite web sites, the most recent headlines, financial reports, and even a weather forecast. Everything on your home page will be customized based on your current location and present activities to make sure the page is always relevant to you.
The downloadable Wizard is available to help you create and customize your personal home page. Once launched, it will prompt you to enter some basic information about yourself, such as your name, your current location, and your preferred language. This will help make your personal home page as effective as possible. The next step is to select the links you want to be displayed on your home page from a list of your most visited pages and bookmarks.
If you like, Personal Informer can also attempt to extract news feeds from the provided links, or you can specify the desired RSS feeds manually. After customizing the page to your liking, it's now absolutely ready to use. Just open your web browser, and you'll see all your links delicately organized under your favorite search engine's interface, complemented with the latest headlines, a convenient weather report, present exchange rates, and major stock indexes.
You can even choose what currencies and stock symbols should be monitored, what search engine you usually use, and even the units you would like the current temperature to be displayed in. It's like having a personal corner of the Internet just for you! Personal Informer helps you stay organized, up-to-date, and informed, and the best part is - it does it all in a way that makes you always feel right at home.
