Photo Mail Wizard

Photo Mail Wizard is a software that aids desktop users in searching, selecting, and sending optimized photos through email. The application ensures that sent photos are converted to the user's preferred size, compressed, rotated, and provided with comments based on their current parameters. Notably, the selected photo files remain unchanged, and no modifications are written to the directories where the application sourced the pictures.

Overall, Photo Mail Wizard features several functionalities, including multiple language support (English and French), recursive search filters for keywords, comments, added dates, and email sending criteria. Users can select photos from the search results, add more criteria, rotate, comment, and set keywords per selected photo. Other features include setting maximum photo dimensions, number of photos per email, recipient selection, and message composition.

The application is designed using Java 5, Swing, JavaMail, Java2D, ImageIO, Logger, XMLEncoder/Decoder, among other java-built technologies. It was coded using NetBeans 4.1 and compiled with Ant, further secured with yGuard, while installation relies on IzPack. Photo Mail Wizard is a multithreaded application, with background processing for search, thumbnail generation, and email sending. Furthermore, the software is asynchronous and does not modify any photos. Instead, it stores its working directories in the ".photowizards" folder located inside the user's home directory.

In the latest release of Photo Mail Wizard, users can now set keywords directly on each photo, and keyword and comment words search criteria have been included. Automatic mail parameter configuration is now possible, and all the application's features are available for free with no time limits (including comments insertion). Therefore, users can use this photo mail wizard software for as long as they require.
