PingPop

If you enjoy old-school arcade games, then you might like PingPop. This game contains elements that remind you of Breakout, which was a classic game from the past. Keep in mind, this isn't a game that has a lot of educational value, nor is it very original. It was created as an in-house exercise and our first attempt at making a game. Nevertheless, it turned out to be somewhat playable, so here it is!

One fantastic aspect of the game is that most of the animation math was handled by ArcadeEngine, which is a Revolution add-on by Malte Brill. Trigonometry is not our strong point, which is why having a good motion/collision math resource (with a well-thought-out help section) was necessary to create such a game. Furthermore, Malte supplied several sample games with source code, which became an excellent learning tool that enabled our team to get PingPop off the ground.

Regarding the requirements, PingPop works best on faster machines. Therefore, if you have an older computer or a laptop, you might experience some lag. Additionally, you need a screen resolution of 800x600 or more excellent to play the game.

Overall, if you're looking for a game that is more for fun than education, this might be the game for you. It's a great way to kill time and get your mind off work for a bit!
