Pivot4U

I recently had the opportunity to try out Pivot4U Add-in for Microsoft Excel, and I must say I was impressed with this innovative tool. The add-in effectively enhances Excel's functionality by adding a new and incredibly useful feature - editable pivot tables.

For those who may be unfamiliar, a pivot table is a data summarization tool that automatically sorts, counts, and totals data stored in a spreadsheet or table. Excel is a popular tool for creating pivot tables, but it does come with some limitations. One significant limitation is that Excel users cannot change data directly in the data area of the pivot table.

However, with Pivot4U, users can easily go beyond this limitation to make their pivot tables editable. For example, let's say you have a spreadsheet called "SourceData" with fields like Region, Color, Month, and Sales, and you want to make changes to the pivot table that has been generated using this data. With Pivot4U, this operation is quick and simple to do.

To get started, simply create a pivot table from the data in the "SourceData" sheet, go to the "Add-Ins" tab of Microsoft Excel, select "Pivot4U On," and set your cursor on any cell within the pivot table. From there, you can effortlessly change any value in the cells directly, and the tool automatically recalculates all totals.

Overall, I found Pivot4U to be a fantastic add-in that unlocks the full power of calculations and planning "from above-downward" without the need for complex or costly software. With editable pivot tables at your fingertips, you can streamline your data management process and save invaluable time and resources. Highly recommended!
