PLCTrainer is a software that provides users with the RSLogix ladder logic interface and also includes analog instructions. It comes with a second CD featuring LogixPro, an RSLogix logic simulator.

One thing to note is that the demo version is not Windows Vista compatible, only the paid version. For those who decide to order now, there is an added incentive of a second CD free LogixPro, an RSLogix logic simulator. LogixPro is considered an ideal tool for learning the fundamentals of RSLogix ladder logic programming.
The ladder rung editor closely mimics Allen Bradleys' software offering, and it is perfectly understandable for someone to double-take and check who's editor they're using. It is especially helpful for people who already own a copy of RSLogix as they can open it from within the PLCTrainer.
The 'virtual PLC' environment nurtures a learning process that enables the learner to apply the knowledge gained in The PLCTrainer without the expense of purchasing RSLogix or even a PLC. The software runs on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, and XP.
