The software can handle various input and output file formats including HPGL, HP-GL/2, HP RTL, PDF, DXF, DWG, GERBER, NC-Drill, IGES, SXF, EMF, TIFF, JPEG, Bitmap, PCX, FPX, GIF, PNG, CMT, HPGL/Printer. It can output files in PDF, HP-GL/2, EMF, TIFF, DXF, DWG, JPEG, Bitmap, IGES, SXF, PCX, FPX, GIF, PNG, WMF, EMF, PS, EPS, SVG, XPS, HPGL, and PCL formats.
The software has two output modes: Standby output mode and Batch output mode. In the Standby output mode, the software looks for the specified input file name with a wildcard and automatically deletes the input file after outputting. If there is no input file, it waits until a file comes. In the Batch output mode, the software can output multiple input files described in the specified output list file continuously.

This software can generate a command line that starts the automatic output special edition version of PloView and has a function to start PloView. An example of the PDF output command line of PloView is "PloView.exe /p abc.hgl abc.pdf".
