PLSTKGLSS is an updated version of the PLSTK theme, featuring a strange yet attractive color combination. Installing the theme is a breeze, simply right click on your desktop and select Change Desktop Background. Next, click on the Theme tab and drag and drop the theme's archive into the Appearance Preferences window. If everything is successful, you will receive a confirmation message and can activate the theme with just a single click.

For those unfamiliar with GNOME, it is a collaborative project to create a comprehensive desktop environment completely composed of free software. This includes software development platforms, choosing application software, and working on the programs that handle application launching, file handling, window management, and task management. GNOME is part of the GNU Project and can be utilized on various Unix-like operating systems such as Linux, as well as in Solaris' Java Desktop System.

Originally, the name GNOME stood for GNU Network Object Model Environment, but that acronym is no longer in use. The GNOME project places a strong emphasis on ease of use, simplicity, and ensuring that things “just work”.
