Potbot

Potbot is an IRC bot programmed in Perl that is designed to be customized with additional code to carry out specific tasks. Its modular coding allows for new functionalities to be added with ease. However, Potbot is not a finished product, and it can be quite buggy and unpleasant to use. Documentation is also incomplete, adding a level of difficulty to its usage. Nonetheless, a version 2-beta package is available on Sourceforge. Configuration can be done by editing the potbot.pl file located in the same directory as the README. To launch the bot, simply type "./potbot" on the bash command line. Despite its flaws, Potbot is fully functional even without any code additions.
