Prompt teleprompter

Prompt is a simple and cost-effective teleprompter software solution available for Mac and Windows devices. This user-configurable software allows for ease of use and compatibility, as Prompt! can save in its own file format as well as .txt format to share between users on Mac and Windows.

With an array of features that cater to the unique needs of teleprompter users, Prompt! offers the ability to import and export plain text, edit text using simple functions such as copy, cut, and paste, and control font size and choice. Additionally, users can control scroll speed and smoothness using the mouse, keyboard, or remote (remote not included).

For unattended use, Prompt! offers a looping function in keyboard run mode with single display, and the software saves in its own file format (.pmt). This means that you can easily send a Prompt file to the person who will be reading and receive it back with their TABS set, masking placement, and any changes to the text including the font size.

Prompt! also offers a variety of customization options including the ability to click and drag the Prompt window to reposition by clicking on the titlebar or the gray area in the edit area or the filename in the scrolling area. There is also an option to hide the desktop with black.

Multi-language support is available for left to right languages only, and horizontal flipping (mirroring) of text alone or running flipped/unflipped on multiple monitors or both unflipped on multiple monitors is possible for those who use hardware flipping on one display.

Other notable features include an on-screen timer/progress indicator including estimated time to end of scroll, and cue points (Tabs) to help navigate through the text seamlessly. Overall, Prompt offers an affordable and user-friendly solution for teleprompter needs on both Mac and Windows devices.
