Pure Expander II

FLUX:: has developed an exclusive algorithm called "Angel's Share," which enables you to remove unwanted noise or reverberation from your sound without adding a processed character. Pure Expander II allows for a wide range of expansion processing, from subtle expansion to hard noise-gate. In addition, many new functions and features have been incorporated into the original Pure Expander.

External side chain inputs are now available, along with new dynamic detection algorithms. The MS Width control manages stereo signals, and settings can be complemented by a Hold parameter and a Threshold for Hysteresis. Signal level detection can now be performed using Classic modes and Feedback modes, in addition to the legacy Solera mode. Various new profiles can be selected for detecting the dynamics of the signal.

The Hysteresis control has a Maximum mode, which allows for processing that considers maximum values of both the standard and Hysteresis detection schemes. The preset manager enables you to save global presets consisting of two different presets and the A/B morphing slider position. Factory presets are provided for every plug-in.

Pure Expander II manages digital audio up to 384 KHz, and up to 8 channels. This is the native version of the plug-in for AU, RTAS, and VST.
