Supported Languages English
Homepage www.k5n.us
Developed by Craig Knudsen
Qlog is an exceptional QuakeWorld/Quake II server frag log parser that provides a plethora of statistics. This software includes a CGI that offers a player's profile of numerous stats. Qlog offers free source code (under GNU GPL), high performance, and multi-platform support for Linux, Solaris, and Win95/NT. It supports QuakeWorld log files and Log Standard v1.2 formats. Qlog also offers a ton of stats, such as displaying the top players sorted by frags, kill ratio, and rank, top frags for the day, month, clans, and custom scoring equations. It also displays the ping time of players, their position last month, supports the namefun high ASCII characters and name aliasing. Additionally, it offers custom HTML headers and trailers for pages, configurable table size, and fonts.

Moreover, Qlog offers player profiles that show all stats as totals for all data, this month, this week, yesterday, and today. It also displays stats against LPBs and HPBs, most consecutive frags, sorted list of victims, sorted list of those who have gibbed you, and additional player demographics can be added.

The performance of Qlog is fantastic as it can run on many megabytes of frag log files, even those with over 10,000 players included. The limit to what it can process is really how much memory and CPU power you have. Qlog will outperform all its competitors, and it summarizes frag log files into much smaller data archives, making it perform excellently on sites with frag logs that have a lot of data.

Installation is easy; one needs to type "make -f Makefile.unix ./qlog" and it's ready to use. Usage is also a breeze. All one needs to do is type "qlog [options] ..." and see qlog.cfg for more on qlog configuration. Command line options will override qlog.cfg values, and one can specify several options, such as displaying output in text instead of HTML to stdout, setting the config file to use, setting the input directory and output directory, specifying a player alias file and ping file, and setting table size, table border size, table cell padding, CGI to use, as well as setting the header and trailer HTML file to use for each page.

Overall, Qlog is an outstanding software, and if you want to generate QuakeWorld/Quake II server frag log parser that generates stats out the wazoo, Qlog is your go-to. With Qlog, generating statistics and player profiles is effortless, and users will undoubtedly be pleased with its performance, comprehensive features, and excellent user interface.
