QNim

I recently had the pleasure of testing out QNim, a portable Qt implementation of the classic game of Nim. For those unfamiliar with Nim, it is a two-player mathematical game of strategy where players take turns removing objects from distinct heaps. The winner is the player who takes the last object from the field.

According to historical documentation, variants of Nim have been played since ancient times, likely originating in China. Its current name was coined in 1901 by Charles L. Bouton of Harvard University, although the origins of the name are not fully explained. Fun fact: some players have noticed that turning the word NIM upside-down and backwards spells WIN.

QNim is written in C++ language with the pure Qt toolkit, and utilizes CMake for the building process. What sets QNim apart is its versatility - it can be built with Qt3 or Qt4, ensuring the same functionality for both versions. The settings file format has been changed, and Qt4 users will appreciate the improved file structure.
