QtSourceView is a C++/Qt-based syntax highlighting library designed to work seamlessly across platforms.
QtSourceView is a cross-platform syntax highlighting library written in C/Qt, which is based on the syntax highlighter definitions from the GtkSourceView project. This library comes with three demos that showcase how to use it to display text in different highlight modes and colors. You can find basic documentation in the source tarball.
It has been tested on Qt4.2 rsync (Linux) (gcc 4.0.2) and QT 4.1.4 on Win32 (MingW 4). Although it has not been tested on other platforms, they should still work.
In the second release, three new language definitions were added from GtkSourceView, including scheme, octave, and changelog. Moreover, one new original language (Qt project file) was also included. Additionally, several bug fixes were implemented to make the library more stable.
All examples are now made with the designer, and the library has minimal Doxygen documentation. With all these features and updates, the QtSourceView library is a great tool to consider using for syntax highlighting.
