Quarto

This software is an implementation of the Quarto board game using OpenGL. Quarto is a strategic and easy-to-learn board game that can be played quickly. The game starts with one player selecting one of the 16 pieces in the pieces view and giving it to their opponent to play. The opponent then places the piece on the game board and can either declare victory or give a piece to the first player.

A player can win Quarto by arranging four pieces in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) that share a common trait. Once a player realizes they have achieved this, they declare "Quarto!" to indicate their victory. This implementation enables players to challenge the computer, another human on the same computer, or other remote players. Rendezvous is also supported, making it simple to locate games on a local network.

Quarto's hardware-accelerated OpenGL graphics provide a fully immersive experience. The software is available in four different languages, making it accessible to players all around the world. The only requirement to run the game is a Rage 128 graphics card or better. Overall, Quarto is a fun and engaging game that will provide hours of entertainment for players of all skill levels.
